In August, 2022, Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and the unrivaled leader in sports radio, announced on-air veteran Rico Beard will join 97.1 The Ticket (WXYT-FM), Detroit’s only local sports talk station. Beard will be heard alongside Valenti on “The Mike Valenti Show with Rico,” weekdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 ET, beginning August 3.
